The home was lovely and in a quiet, peaceful location. We loved being close to Mentone, Little River Canyon, and downtown Fort Payne, but remote enough to “get away.” The views are beautiful! We had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend.

The location was very secluded, which was what I wanted. Very clean and great modern amenities. Perfect for a couple’s getaway. I would highly recommend and we will be back again.

If this rental is available during your desired dates, grab it! The location is perfect. You are secluded enough to have complete privacy, and you are set high above the city to enjoy all the sights. We loved sitting on the back deck rocking chairs and listening to the distant train move through the city. This house is a great central location to easily explore the surrounding areas. Definitely visit Little River Canyon National Preserve. Also, drive over to Mentone and have lunch/dinner at the Wildflower Cafe. Last but not least - the beds are so comfortable. The views were wonderful, from inside and outside, even while all you could see was mist of being in the clouds.
Hot tub was amazing.

This was an absolutely beautiful home with amazing views! The hosts were super responsive and helpful. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet, and romantic getaway! We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our weekend away. The views were beautiful and it was very peaceful too. We had a nice hike at Desoto State Park + a fun day walking around downtown Fort Payne during their holiday open house celebration. We will def return!
